Does the expectations of teachers determine the confidence level of students?

I think that to some degree, on what types of expectations and how high they are, does in fact determine the confidence level among the students. Therefore teachers must be careful on setting the expectations, and how they will react towards disciplining students.

As teachers we must always reinforce our students through encouragement and success. Teachers have the power to push students to complete their tasks and work. In addition, provide students with the opportunities to accomplish goals independently. One of the best ways to install confidence within a child, is to ensure them that are capable of overcoming difficulties and obstacles. In the end, it’s all about the way we react as teachers towards student’s difficult period of time.
